Dance Fever Charlotte was established in 2005 in Charlotte, NC by Holly & Jason Cagle. 

Holly had taken dance her entire life and had begun teaching dance during high school and college in Eastern North Carolina.  After majoring in dance at East Carolina University, Holly left to pursue teaching dance classes as a full-time career in Eastern N.C. 

Jason was from the Charlotte area and had been involved in competitive shag dancing since the age of 13 and had traveled all over the East Coast teaching and promoting the shag and its special music. 

The two met at a shag dance event in North Myrtle Beach and had an instant bond due to their love of dance and teaching dance classes.

Holly & Jason Cagle decided to start Dance Fever Charlotte to have the opportunity to share their infectious love of dance and also to promote & preserve the Carolina Shag through shag dance classes.  Our staff of dance teachers is comprised of accomplished performers and teachers in various fields including ballet and hip hop.  We strive to offer FUN and QUALITY dance classes at Dance Fever Charlotte while understanding that dance class is just one of the many extracurricular activities that occupy our student’s busy weeks.

Our dance classes at Dance Fever Charlotte are offered for ages 3 to adult.  We encourage you to visit the studio and attend a trial class to see why Dance Fever Charlotte exploded onto the scene in 2005 and continues to be one of Charlotte’s premier dance studios.
