The 19th annual “Fall Cyclone” shag dance party will be held on Nov. 6-8, 2009 in Mooresville, NC at the old skating rink.  This is an adult only shag dance party with nobody under 21 years of age admitted.  The Fall Cyclone is an all inclusive event featuring:

• Free late night coffee and pastries both nights
• Free meals on Saturday including lunch & dinner
• Free shag dance class by Hall of Famer Ellen Taylor
• Free shag dance class by Dance Fever Charlotte owners Holly & Jason Cagle
• Free shag dance class by Jeff Hargett & Nikki Kontoulas
• Free munchies & adult beverages all weekend
• Free live performance by the Fantastic Shakers on Sunday
• Free performance by the National Shag Dance Team featuring Dance Fever Charlotte’s own Holly & Jason Cagle and a graduate of dance classes at Dance Fever Charlotte – Krystal Bravo

The Carolina Beach Music Awards selected this party as the “Shag Club Event of the Year”

DJs for this year’s event will play in pairs and include:

• Mike Rink & Clyde Waller
• Klye Beam & Eddie Teeter

There are hotel rooms blocked off at several hotels.  Each hotel only has a certain number of rooms and types, so call early if you have a preference.  There will also be 18-24 passenger buses running non-stop all weekend between the party and the preferred hotels.
